The first number '6' refers to the degree of protection against access to hazardous parts and ingress of solid objects, 6 is the highest rating at "dust tight; complete protection against contact". The second number '6' refers to the degree of protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against the harmful entry of various forms of moisture , 6 is one of the highest ratings at "protection against heavy seas, or powerful jets of water".
