Baby joggers are a form of stroller that allow the parents to run with their children. There are many differences between a regular stroller and a baby jogger, including the addition of shocks, larger wheels, and more safety features. Baby joggers can come in different sizes, depending on the number of children that need to be carried. Another feature that can be chosen, depending on your needs, is the type of wheel installed on the front of the baby jogger. You can get a baby jogger with either a swivel wheel, which allows tighter turning, or a normal wheel which may be easier to control, but will not give you as tight a turning radius. A few general guidelines to buying baby joggers are to make sure the handlebar is adjusted to your height for stability, make sure your child can be completely strapped in, and if there is a young child being carried, be sure to stick to smooth surfaces to prevent shaking. There are different sized wheels available as well, for different running surfaces. Make sure that if you run on dirt, or sand, to get larger wheels with larger treads to make the ride smoother. These guidelines will allow you to purchase the right baby jogger, and keep your child comfortable, even while your legs are burning.
