The Reporter Outdoor Intercom runs continuously for up to two years on four AA batteries, sold separately. The Reporter Outdoor Intercom Units can communicate with any Reporter wireless intercom within range. Start with this outdoor set, the Reporter Wireless Intercom Set or Reporter Flushmount Intercom Set and expand with an unlimited number of portable and flushmount wireless intercoms. Since there is no limit to the number of intercoms that can be used, you can include one in each room of your home. These outdoor wireless intercoms are easy to use. Just hold down the "talk" button, and every intercom unit in the network will receive the signal. When somebody responds by holding down his own "talk" button, a secure channel is created; no other unit will receive the signal, and no one else will be able to hear your conversation. The Reporter's advanced system features four channel selections. Broadcast to all channels simultaneously or speak to one party through the automatically secured link.
