The temperature sensor's active sensing element is made of an economical thermal resistor material accurate to within +/- .5 F (0.2 C). Sold separately, the IP Thermostat w/Remote Sensor Capability will support up to two remote sensors. Additional sensors are sold separately.Mount the Proliphix Standard Outdoor Sensor outdoors for outside air temperature sensing. The design allows for two-point mounting and 1.5-inch wall separation for more accurate performance. The weather shield protects the stainless steel probe from the damaging effects of rain, sleet and snow.
