The Proliphix Standard Indoor Sensor is a cost-effective , attractive indoor temperature sensor that provides accurate room temperature sensing for the IP Thermostat w/Remote Sensor Capability network thermostat. The temperature sensor's active sensing element is made of a highly stable, pre-aged material accurate to within +/- .5 F (0.28 C). Sold separately, the IP Thermostat w/Remote Sensor Capability will support up to two remote sensors, which it can use to average the temperature across multiple rooms to avoid wasting energy. Additional sensors are sold separately. Where appearance is important, mount the Proliphix Standard Indoor Sensor in its white enclosure with metal transfer faceplate. The temperature sensor may be mounted directly to the drywall or on a standard electrical outlet box without adapters. Mounting hardware is included. The IP Thermostat w/Remote Sensor Capability can be controlled directly at the unit or monitored and adjusted remotely over an authenticated, secure and free Internet connection through the Proliphix website.
