The transmitter attaches to any wood or metal self-latching or self-locking gate, with magnetic contact switches that attach to opposite sides of the gate opening. This signal triggers an alarm on the base station, letting you know the gate has been opened. You can use this notification system to let you know the moment anyone opens a gate on your property. For added safety, you can use the Safety Turtle Wireless Gate Alarm Transmitter along with a matching Safety Turtle Wristband which alerts you when a child falls into a swimming pool. An added feature of the gate alarm is that there is a hidden bypass switch which provides an 11 second entry time without setting off the alarm. An LED illuminates during the bypass period, which also confirms the battery is functioning properly. The alarm transmitter includes a replaceable sensor battery that lasts for approximately 30,000 entries. Important Note: A base station can only recognize a transmission from one color set of Safety Turtle products. If you are using multiple Safety Turtle products around your property, they must all be the same color for the base station to work with multiple signals.
