Monitor the temperature and humidity in your server room, equipment closet, or work area using a simple and reliable device. The THUM USB Temperature/Humidity Sensor connects to your PC through an available USB port, delivering accurate real-time temperature and humidity data without any required interaction. The included software stores all readings to an Access database and can be set up to email you if your designated alarm point is reached, so if your server room becomes too hot or if the humidity exceeds a safe point in your equipment rack, you'll be notified immediately. You can also access this information by logging in remotely from any Internet-connected computer.Connect to Your Home Automation System The THUM USB Temperature/Humidity Sensor is compatible with HomeSeer V2 home control software, HCA Standard and HCA Plus, so if you have one of these systems set up in your home, you can program the system to perform specific tasks, such as shutting down servers during an alarm situation. Software Report Options Using sampling periods ranging from 30 seconds to 30 minutes (as designated by the user), the included software can generate a running graph of the last 20 data points. It can also export the data to CSV (comma separated), dBase III, dBase IV, HTML, Excel, or another Access file so you can do your own analysis of the data. The program also generates html pages that can be automatically saved to your web server in order to provide worldwide access to the current temperature and relative humidity data.
