The Elk UltraProx Wiegand Reader is a compact, technically advanced external proximity reader with 26 bit Wiegand output for use with a separate controller. Compatible with Elk M1 control panels and most other access controllers. Ideal for higher security installations and as an alternative to remembering PIN codes. What's Included # UltraProx Wiegand Reader # Mounting screws # Instructions Easy Installation This proximity reader is easy to install. If you're connecting to an M1 system using any of the M1KP keypads, the W-035A Cable Assembly is required; M1 Systems with M1KP2 or M1KP3 keypads require the W039A Cable Assembly. Mount the sensor, then follow the color code to splice the various wires. The prox sensor is powered by the M1 panel or other access control, so needs no separate power supply. Versatile The Elk UltraProx Wiegand Reader is compatible with nearly all access controls and can be configured to flash its green LED to confirm operation, to confirm operation with its internal buzzer, or to give no confirmation. When installed in conjunction with an Elk M1 keypad, all confirmation would be displayed on the keypad.
