Whether you're home or on the road, you never have to worry about a surprise water disaster again. The Water Alarm Plus with Siren was primarily designed for you to feel safe and secure, knowing that once any amount of water is detected where sensors are placed, you'll be notified by phone as well as a siren alert. This basic starter system comes equipped with the water alarm dialer and the water siren (also available separately). Each unit is powered by a single 9-volt alkaline battery (sold separately). Calls One Phone Number When Alarm is Triggered The water alarm dialer will automatically dial one telephone number when water is detected by the wired water sensor. The Water Alarm Plus can call any telephone number, including a cell phone, calling card number, or an international number. The system continues to call your programmed telephone number until the alarm call out is canceled. You can cancel the call out by calling back to the Water Alarm Plus from any phone in the world. Pre-Recorded Voice Message The Water Alarm Plus plays a pre-recorded voice alarm message in English. The message says, "This is your water alarm. Water has been detected at your monitored location. Please check conditions at your monitored location." The Water Alarm will repeat this message for one minute, allowing it to be recorded on an answering machine or voicemail if desired. Easy Installation Not only is this a very secure and convenient system, it's also very easy to install. The Water Alarm Dialer connects to your existing telephone line to make continuous phone calls every 15 minutes (or 2 hours) if water is detected. The Water Siren detects leaks and sounds a 90-decibel alarm. This sensor can sit directly on the ground, or it can be detached and extended up to 6 feet (1.3m) from the Water Siren to place in hard-to-reach areas. You must have touch-tone telephone service for the Water Alarm Plus to operate properly.
