There's even a model with a built-in humidity sensor that reports outdoor or indoor relative humidity from 0 to 100 percent. High and low humidity limits can be set to prompt the Omni automation to take control (i.e. automatically turning on the bathroom vent fan, running the air conditioner in de-humidification mode, turning on a humidifier in heating mode, etc.) or reporting high or low humidity conditions. Controlling humidity is particularly helpful in combating the growth of mold in vulnerable areas of the home, such as bathrooms, basements, attics, etc. Constructed with highly accurate temperature sensors that don't need calibration, these temperature sensors are available for indoor-only or indoor/outdoor use.
