The WaterBug Leak Detection System can be used with virtually any security/home automation system that accepts a dry contact closure. Use it with the EnviroAlert Systems, X10 Security System Wireless Transmitters, the JDS TimeCommander Plus or a Sensaphone. This AC-powered system has normally-open or normally-closed contacts and requires a power supply, sold separately. The WaterBug Leak Detection System comes with one surface sensor. You can also add up to 5 additional sensors (sold separately). Also available in a battery-powered version. Note: The Waterbug does not work with deionized water.
