Even though safety equipment is essential for many jobs, employees hate to wear them because they are uncomfortable or they look ridiculous. One solution to the problem has been cool safety glasses. They allow the maximum amount of light in. The next kind have shaded lenses much like sun glasses. This can be a brown or gray shading, or sometimes the lens is a different color, like blue or amber. The last type feature mirrored lenses. These are used in outdoor settings where more protection from harsh sunlight is needed. Regardless of the type of lens, these items protect the wearer from 99 percent of ultraviolet rays.
