FloodStop for Washing Machines Auto-Shutoff not only detects leaks early, but it automatically shuts your water off in the event of a leak, alerting you with the control panel's alarm. Leaks are not only detected but water damage is prevented by stopping the flow of water when a leak occurs. This Unit is for washing machines that have thier valves against the wall. If your valves are in a box recessed into the wall then you need the FS 3/4H90.
How FloodStop for Washing Machines Works:
Each FloodStop valve has female threaded spinning collars that screw onto the hot and cold water hose bibs
Screw hoses onto the outlet end of each FloodStop valve
Place the Water/leak sensor on the floor behind Washing Machine
Your valves will stay open until water loss is detected
When a leak is detected the sensor immediately closes FloodStop valves and sounds alarm
The valves stay closed until problem is attended to and system is reset
Ruptured supply lines, loose hose fittings, a detached drain hose, and any number of internal machine failures can result in costly water damage to your home. The Floodstop turns the water supply lines off when a leak is detected, leaving all your other household fixtures and appliances operational. The valves can be powered by the included power supply with battery back up or you may use 4 C batteries as the primary power source if there is no nearby power source. The non-intrusive devices can be installed in as little as 10 minutes; no professional plumbers are required. Output contacts are available to connect to alarm, home automation, or autodialer systems.
