SafetyEd takes great pride in offering the absolute best products from leading companies and your satisfaction is our driving motive. However, you may occasionally find it necessary to return or exchange an item.  We try to make returns as hassle-free as possible. We have a simple, clearly laid out return policy found below.

Most items may be returned within 14 days of delivery and must be returned at the customer’s expense.  All returns or exchanges are subject to an industry-standard restocking fee of up to 25% this covers the restocking fees charged to us by the manufacturer. For all item(s) or orders that received the free/flat rate shipping promotion our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. Returns must be 100% complete, in resalable condition, and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.   Returned items in any other type of packaging or in a condition not specified in your RMA may not be eligible for refund.  Certain items are shipped directly from our vendors and therefore some returns and exchanges will be subject to that vendors’ return policy.

After 14 days, your product is covered under the manufacturer's warranty, if one is provided.  You must contact the manufacturer for any type of service, or replacement of your product.  We will be more than happy to assist you with any telephone numbers, website addresses, and email addresses we have on file for a manufacturer.

Please keep all packing material and documentation in the event you want to return an item.

Due to health, hygienic and safety regulations we do not accept returns of the following items:

·    Medical equipment or supplies including but not limited to masks, syringes, cholesterol monitors, thermometers, hernia briefs, toilet seats, commodes, erection aids, incontinence products, diabetes care products, infection control products, all bath items, wound care products, hospital and adjustable beds, mattresses and support surfaces, sheets, pillows, , power patient lifts & stand-up lifts, slings, custom wheelchairs (only transport & standard chairs can be returned), geri-chairs, handcycles, socks, hose, ramps, respiratory items, cushions, personal care items, professional medical products, intimate products, ostomy, urology, gloves, hand splints, oxygen cylinders (tanks) and regulators and items designed for single-use. This includes products that are still considered to be in new condition or are not yet opened.

·    Software, video games, and computer parts and accessories.

·    All those items that are clearly mentioned in their product description as non-returnable.

·    All parts orders.

·    BCI products (exchanges only)

·    Custom made product

·    Any item that is not returned within 14 days of shipment.

·    Serialized items are not eligible for return if the serial number identifier of the item returned is different, missing, damaged, tampered with or otherwise altered or modified.

·    Any medical item in factory sealed packaging once seal has been broken.

·    Any safety related item that shows any signs of installation or use.

·    International shipments

Refused Shipments

If we shipped your package and it is returned to us, the return policies outlined on this page will be applied to your order.  There is a possibility that refused shipments will not be issued a refund.  If you change your mind after you place your order please contact us and we will advise you on the best course of action.

Damaged Shipments or Mis-Shipment

 If you are returning an item that is defective or shipped in error by Safetyed we apologize for your inconvenience. We will reship the correct item or issue you a complete refund plus the cost to ship the product back to us.

Fully inspect all deliveries before signing the receipt, even if you do not plan on opening the carton right away. Shipping damage must be reported immediately or we will not be able to refund you.

Write down any visible damage such as box crushed, torn, creased, and other circumstances about the delivery.

If you find concealed damage, save the carton and packaging material. Contact our customer service department immediately

Defective Items

Items that are defective can only be exchanged for the identical item within the 14 day return period. Refunds cannot be issued, only an exchange for a non-defective identical item. We will cover the cost of the second shipment, return shipment, and there will not be a restocking fee for defective items.

RMAs are valid for 15 days and cannot be extended or renewed.
